To get from Lake Bled to Soča River you can take a road with 50 hairpin turns built in World War I. At the 8th turn there is a small Russian Chapel just to the left of the road. The chapel was built by Russian 

Lake Bohinj

Lake Bohinj

Lake Bohinj is a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains.

As I got in the lake, fish swam by my feet and ducks flew over my head. We swam out to the middle of the lake.

I rode a ski gondola up to the top of a mountain. When we got out of the gondola, much to our surprise we saw alpine cows and goats.

Speaking of cows, Lake Bohinj is famous for cheese, but we forgot to get any. If you forget to get any, don’t have a cow about it because I’ve done it too.
