The Dragons of Postojna Cave

Can you guess what the most well known thing in Postojna Cave is?

It’s an olm!

An olm is a salamander that looks quite like a dragon. No wonder it’s famous.

Olms are blind, but can sense electricity instead.

They are white, have huge snouts and red ear fringe that looks like coral.

Olms can grow up to 30 cm long and can live for up to 100 years and go 10 years without food.

Olms are very very cute.
